This 4th of July wasn’t about fireworks and celebrations for me. It was a day of reckoning, a moment when I hit rock bottom. Let me explain, On 1st July at 8:30 pm, I received a text from my tenant.

“I have packed all of your stuff and put it outside the room, let me know when you want to pick it up”

My feet were frozen where I was standing, I couldn’t believe…but I had a deal that I would take care of the garden and he’d let me live with some extra time…what happened? I called the tenant “Hey, Mr. A I just received your text, I thought we had an arrangement. After going back and forth for 15 min I understood that he had reached a point of no coming back, can’t blame him, after the car accident and starting a new job I was behind 200$ on my rent and without a Tag on the car or having the money to pay for it, I couldn’t drive extra for any of my side gigs, so the only way to save any kind of money was to work overtime and eat Ramen and It was working I had 150$ saved after my phone bill and car payment but it wasn’t enough.

LATER ON…

I can't tell anyone about this, I can’t be a burden on anyone and I live alone, I can stay in my car until I figure everything out, Alright so it’s decided I need to live in the car and find a room.

Thoughts running in my mind but I know I have god on my side.

Long story short, I started working on a brand I have been thinking about for a long time, and what better way to do that than now when I have hit rock bottom?

TAREEKH® ARTICLE | THE EAGLE

This 4th of July wasn’t about parades or barbecues for me. It was about declaring my independence from limitations. The Eagle by Tareekh is a symbol of that declaration.

Tareekh means “history,” and this shirt represents the journey we all take, the moments that shape who we are. The Eagle, a symbol of strength and resilience, reminds us that we can overcome anything. The inscription on the back, “Strength Before Weakness,” is a reminder to push through adversity and create our own remarkable stories.

I don’t know what else I would do…but I can’t give up.

I believe that it is crucial for men to have a supportive space to discuss their feelings and experiences, and to feel comfortable seeking help when needed
